We're not a manufacturer, a single-brand distributor, or a warranty provider — we're an independent partner with direct access to multiple Tier 1 battery, inverter, and EMS manufacturers, delivering a right-sized system for your project. Unlike a typical turnkey integrator, we combine sourcing, equipment-backed financing, and full system integration support under one contract and one team, without the markups that come from white-labeled or single-OEM vendor models.

We focus on projects ranging from 100 kWh to 100 MWh+, spanning Commercial & Industrial buildings (C&I), small front of meter or distribution-level grid projects and microgrid/offgrid projects including data center applications.

While our core focus is projects in the 100 kWh–100 MWh+ range, we evaluate larger utility-scale and C&I projects on a case-by-case basis. Outside this core service range, GridVest can provide procurement advisory services to support your project — including strategic guidance on system design, vendor and technology evaluation, pricing guidance, contract review, permitting support and AHJ navigation, and technical consulting. We maintain direct, independent relationships with multiple Tier 1 battery, inverter, and EMS providers rather than selling a single brand. This gives us leverage on volume-based pricing and lets us recommend the best-fit equipment for your project's technical and compliance requirements.
Tier 1 OEMs are often hesitant to sell directly to C&I developers and EPCs, so GridVest acts as the bridge — vetting and qualifying vendors, leading single-line diagram (SLD) review and integration support to make sure battery, inverter, and EMS components work together correctly, and managing the project from commissioning through COD. We also serve as the liaison between you and the OEM for warranty support and service claims, which typically resolves issues faster and with more transparency than going directly to the manufacturer.

We also provide procurement advisory services for larger-scale projects outside our core sourcing and financing range.

We offer a set of suggested Configured Storage Solutions — field-tested battery, inverter, and EMS pairings validated by our technical team as a fast starting point, and full set solution. Beyond that, we generally bundle battery, inverter, and EMS together under one contract, but these can also be sourced separately from our approved supplier list:batteries, inverters, and EMS/microgrid controls. We'll work with whichever combination fits your project.

GridVest is vendor-agnostic, so we can work with equipment you've already selected or help you evaluate options from our network of Tier 1 manufacturers. If you already have a preferred battery, inverter, or EMS supplier, GridVest may be able to procure it for you with better pricing, better terms, better warranties or all of the above.

Configured Storage Solutions are pre-selected systems combining Tier 1 batteries, inverters, and EMS — validated by GridVest's technical team so developers and EPCs get faster procurement and field-tested combinations.
They come in two tiers: cabinet-based configurations up to 4 MWh for C&I applications, and container-based configurations from 4 MWh+ for higher-capacity, front-of-meter, and microgrid projects. Individual system sizes span 60 kWh up through 5 MWh+, and several options are FEOC-compliant for projects that need to preserve ITC eligibility.
Ultimately, the brands you see are the brands you get, without white-labeling. This approach can lower insurance costs and simplify warranties, which we transfer to your company directly.

Procurement, manufacturing & quality assurance — sourcing coordination with OEM partners through factory testing and validation
Logistics management & equipment delivery — shipping, customs, warehousing, and delivery scheduling
Permitting, testing & commissioning support — installation support alongside your EPC/contractor team, plus testing and commissioning for full operational handoff
Ongoing support — continued engagement as needed for post-commissioning for performance and maintenance coordination with LTSA options
Throughout, GridVest handles system sourcing, pricing and procurement, equipment financing structuring, vendor coordination, and QA/commissioning oversight, while your EPC or development team leads site control, permitting, interconnection, and on-site execution.

While a large share of our business runs through EPCs, developers, IPPs, and utilities, we also work directly with some C&I end customers and municipalities on projects where that's the right structure. Regardless of who we're working with, GridVest handles sourcing, financing, and QA/commissioning oversight, while site control, permitting leadership, interconnection, and on-site installation remain with the EPC, developer, or contractor team.

Yes. Our team provides technical support and installation guidance throughout deployment, including oversight of factory acceptance testing, onsite or virtual commissioning, and integration validation to help ensure the system performs reliably from day one.
While your team will be directly responsible for the physical installation, our team can arrange cold or hot commissioning support directly from the manufacturer, and provide guidance along the way for accelerating project completion. -
No — physical installation is handled by your EPC or contractor team, and GridVest maintains a network of recommended EPC partners if you need a referral. Where we add value is everything around installation: technical support, integration guidance, and commissioning coordination, so your team isn't navigating questions alone.
Financing & compliance

We offer equipment-backed financing structured specifically for battery storage projects. This is an installment-based sale with payments aligned to development, delivery, commissioning, and operational milestones. This gives developers and EPCs a faster, simpler underwriting path than traditional project finance.

Our payment structures are milestone-based and can require as little as 10% down, with the battery system itself functioning as collateral for the financing, for up to 24 months. This inventory-based approach means we work with companies even with limited credit history, often without a credit check.

Yes. FEOC compliance can meaningfully affect equipment cost and sourcing options, so whether pursuing Investment Tax Credit (ITC) eligibility makes sense depends on your specific project economics. We help developers and EPCs model the economics of a project, by weighing the cost and complexity of FEOC-compliant sourcing against the value of the credit, so you can make an informed decision rather than defaulting to one path.
