Microgrids for essential operations

Case study

Reliable power where the grid isn't an option

For remote oil & gas sites where uptime is paramount, GridVest delivered a hybrid microgrid approach — integrating batteries with natural gas generators to provide high reliability across three simultaneous off-grid operations in Texas. Acting as primary contractor, GridVest coordinated multiple OEMs and logistics, custom-integrated the systems, and managed commissioning and after-sales support across all three sites.

The result: batteries in the ground in ~3 months across three simultaneous sites, minimized tariff exposure, and high reliability and uptime achieved across all sites — with factory-integrated controls reducing on-site commissioning complexity.
